Abstract
A clamp device includes a base unit, a first clamp member, a second clamp member, and a toggle mechanism. The first clamp member includes a pressure receiving surface oriented upward or downward. The first clamp member is attached to the base unit in an immovable manner. The second clamp member includes a pressure supplying surface opposed to the pressure receiving surface. The second clamp member is attached to the base unit to be movable up and down. The toggle mechanism is configured to move the second clamp member up and down. Thus, the clamp device reliably clamps an object.
Claims20
A clamp device comprising:
- a base unit having upward, downward, front, rear, first, and second sides;
- a first clamp member including a pressure receiving surface oriented upward or downward, the first clamp member attached to the base unit in an immovable manner;
- a second clamp member including a pressure applying surface opposed to the pressure receiving surface, the second clamp member attached to the base unit in a manner to be movable up and down relative to the base unit;
- and
- a toggle mechanism configured to move the second clamp member up and down.
