Abstract
A dryer includes: a conveyor including a conveying belt to convey a medium having a printed image on the medium in a conveyance direction; a superheated steam generator to generate a superheated steam; and a nozzle discharger to discharge the superheated steam, generated by the superheated steam generator to the medium conveyed by the conveying belt to dry the printed image on the medium, wherein the conveyor supplies the superheated steam to the conveying belt to heat the conveying belt.

A dryer comprising:
- a conveyor including a conveying belt to convey a medium having a printed image on the medium in a conveyance direction;
- a superheated steam generator to generate a superheated steam;
- and
- a nozzle discharger to discharge the superheated steam, generated by the superheated steam generator to the medium conveyed by the conveying belt to dry the printed image on the medium,
- wherein the conveyor supplies the superheated steam to the conveying belt to heat the conveying belt.
