Claims9
An ink container comprising:
- a container body including a chamber configured to store ink, the container body having a first sidewall and a second sidewall, the first and second sidewalls spaced apart from one another to define a first width, the container body having a first end surface and second end surface each separated in a first direction and a third end surface and a fourth end surface each separated in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction;
- and
- a cover attached to the container body, wherein:
- the container body includes:
- a supply port positioned closer to the fourth end surface than to the third end surface in the second direction, facing in the first direction, and configured to supply ink from the chamber;
- the cover includes:
- a fifth end surface facing in the second direction, positioned between the third end surface and the fourth end surface in the second direction, and positioned between the supply port and the first end surface in the first direction;
- and
- a wall protruding from the fifth end surface and defining a second width smaller than the first width;
- the wall has one end in the first direction and positioned closer to the first end surface than to the supply port in the first direction;
- the wall has a sixth end surface facing in the second direction and positioned between the fifth end surface and the supply port, and
- the wall has a first surface positioned inward from the first sidewall of the container body and an opposing second surface positioned inward of the second sidewall of the container body such that the wall and each of the first and second surfaces is positioned within the first width defined by the first and second sidewalls.
