Liquid ejection head and liquid ejection device

A liquid ejection device comprising:

• a liquid ejection head for ejecting liquid onto a medium;
• and
• a controller configured to control the liquid ejection head, wherein
• the liquid ejection head includes:
• a nozzle plate having a nozzle through which liquid is ejected,
• a pressure chamber communicating with the nozzle,
• an actuator configured to change a volume of the pressure chamber in response to a drive signal, and
• a drive circuit configured to generate the drive signal, wherein
• the drive signal includes:
• two ejection waveforms for causing the nozzle to eject two droplets, the ejection waveforms including a first ejection waveform and a second ejection waveform that is input after the first ejection waveform, and
• a suppression waveform that is input between the first and second ejection waveforms and suppresses residual vibration generated by the first ejection waveform,
• the second ejection waveform is input at a timing at which vibration generated by the first ejection waveform and vibration generated by the suppression waveform intensify each other, and
• a speed of a droplet ejected by the second ejection waveform is greater than a speed of a droplet ejected by the first ejection waveform.
