Abstract
A mold for molding a tire that has a container. The mold has a bladder with a flexible portion that has a flexible portion inner surface and a flexible portion outer surface. A plurality of mold sectors are distributed around the bladder. A mounting portion is included that is carried by the flexible portion at a location of the flexible portion that lacks a through aperture from the flexible portion inner surface to the flexible portion outer surface. Also, a puck is attached to the mounting portion with a cavity configured for molding the container onto an inner surface of the tire.

A mold for molding a tire that has a container, comprising:
- a plurality of mold sectors;
- a bladder that has a flexible portion that has a flexible portion inner surface and a flexible portion outer surface, wherein the mold sectors are distributed around the bladder;
- a mounting portion carried by the flexible portion at a location of the flexible portion that lacks a through aperture from the flexible portion inner surface to the flexible portion outer surface;
- and
- a puck attached to the mounting portion, wherein the puck has a cavity configured for molding the container onto an inner surface of the tire.
