A tire plug anchor or fitting component for a kit for repairing a punctured tire of a vehicle, such as a bicycle, the tire plug anchor or fitting component being suitable for receiving a part or a section of a tire plug and then dragging the tire plug, owing to the actuation of a tire plug insertion tool throughout a puncture hole of a punctured tire, the anchor or fitting component having a front and a rear, a top, a bottom and two sides and delimiting a receiving seat, so that a section or portion of a tire plug can be inserted and kept in position therein during the insertion throughout a puncture hole of a punctured tire.
