A component for a vehicle interior comprising a composite structure comprising substrate, foam material, heater element, adhesive material and cover layer is disclosed; the composite structure may comprise foam material on substrate and heater element on foam material and adhesive material on heater element; substrate may comprise formed substrate comprising a shape; heater element on formed substrate may comprise the shape. Adhesive material may comprise adhesive layer attached to heater element and/or adhesive layer; the adhesive material may be attached to heater element and attached to cover layer. Component may be formed by a method comprising providing heater element between foam material and adhering heater element with foam material without adhesive. Foam material may comprise injected foam material adhering to heater element; adhesive material may comprise two-sided adhesive between the foam material attaching one side on heater element. Substrate may comprise a carrier, fabric, fleece, non-woven material, plastic material, etc.
