Abstract
An apparatus includes a housing and a closure. The housing includes an inlet, an outlet, and a vent. The closure is provided at the inlet of the housing. The closure is configured to block fluid at the inlet when a vacuum state exists at the outlet. The closure is also configured to release the fluid at the inlet when the vacuum state is removed at the outlet.

An apparatus comprising:
- a housing including an inlet, an outlet, and a vent;
- a closure provided at the inlet of the housing and configured to:
- block fluid at the inlet when a vacuum state exists at the outlet;
- and
- release fluid at the inlet when the vacuum state is removed at the outlet.

- a piping network configured to guide the extinguishing fluid from the fluid source to at least one sprinkler head;

- a closure provided at the inlet of the housing and configured to:
- block fluid at the inlet when a vacuum state exists at the outlet;
