Disclosed are compositions comprising an Olea europaea extract and a Scutellaria baicalensis extract for use in the treatment of dyslipidemia as inhibitors of the HMG-CoA reductase enzyme.

A method of treating dyslipidaemia in a patient in need thereof, said method comprising
- administering to said patient a pharmaceutical effective amount of a composition Compositions comprising or consisting of an Olea europaea fruit and leaf extract and a Scutellaria baicalensis root extract for use in the treatment of dyslipidemia as inhibitors of the HMG-COA reductase enzyme.
