Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a cosmetic composition having anti-inflammatory activity. According to the present disclosure, a cosmetic composition that can inhibit the production of reactive nitrogen species, which is an inflammatory mediator involved in the induction of inflammation in cells, is provided.

A method for inhibiting or reducing inflammation in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject in need thereof a composition comprising 3-hydroxypropionic acid or a derivative thereof as an active ingredient.
