Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a cosmetic composition for preventing, alleviating or ameliorating alopecia. According to the present disclosure, a cosmetic composition that not only inhibits the action of TGF-β1 factor, but also has an inhibitory effect on 5α-reductase, and therefore can exhibit an excellent effect for preventing, alleviating, or ameliorating alopecia is provided.

A method of preventing, alleviating, ameliorating, or treating alopecia in a subject in need thereof, comprising applying composition comprising 3-hydroxypropionic acid or a derivative thereof as an active ingredient.
