Abstract
A pacifier through which it can be detected if a user produces the negative pressure in the oral cavity necessary to hold the tongue in contact with the maxillary bone, stimulating the expansion thereof, so as to guide the correct growth of the face and the associated structures in the oral-nasal-respiratory complex. In addition, the pacifier serves as a guide for the eruption of deciduous teeth that begin to emerge from the gum, therefore being indicated to accompany the user in the different stages of growth.
Claims15
A pacifier (1) comprising:
- a base plate (2);
- a cup (4) hermetically couplable to the base plate (2), the cup (4) comprising a retractable region (4A);
- and
- a nipple (3) couplable to at least one of the base plate (2) or to the cup (4), the nipple (3) being configured to establish fluid communication between the space of Donders of the oral cavity and the cup (4), such that a vacuum pressure in said space of Donders causes a retraction of the retractable region (4A) of the cup (4).

A pacifier (10) comprising:
- a base plate (20);
- a cup (40) hermetically couplable to the base plate (20), the cup (40) comprising a retractable region (40A);
- and
- an intraoral screen (50) couplable to at least one of the base plate (20) or to the cup (40), wherein said intraoral screen (50) is in fluid communication with the cup (40), the intraoral screen (50) being configured to be interposed between the outer portion of the teeth and the inner portion of the lips and cheeks and to serve as a guide for the eruption of deciduous teeth that begin to emerge from the gum, such that a vacuum pressure from the oral cavity is transmitted to the cup (40), causing the retractable region (40A) to retract.
