The present invention relates to bedside toileting and waste-management systems and, more particularly, to an inflatable bedpan configured to improve comfort, stability on bedding, and hygienic waste containment. In an exemplary embodiment, the inflatable bedpan includes a seat ring above a support ring and a receptacle region having a leak-resistant bottom receptacle surface. A two-bag arrangement includes an outer containment bag and a removable inner containment bag positioned within the outer containment bag. The inner containment bag includes a perimeter channel containing a cinch string that exits through one or more egress openings, with portions of the cinch string fed through cinch holes of the outer containment bag so that free ends are accessible from outside the outer containment bag. The inner containment bag can be cinched closed and removed for disposal without inserting a hand through a waste-receiving opening, while the outer containment bag can remain installed.
An inflatable bedpan waste-management system configured to support a user during toileting and configured to permit cinch-closure of an inner containment bag from an inter-ring access region located between a seat ring and a support ring of an inflatable bedpan at an outer perimeter of the inflatable bedpan, the inflatable bedpan waste-management system comprising:
An inflatable bedpan waste-management system configured to be installed on an inflatable bedpan that supports a user during toileting and configured to permit cinch-closure of an inner containment bag from an inter-ring access region located between a seat ring and a support ring of the inflatable bedpan at an outer perimeter of the inflatable bedpan, the inflatable bedpan waste-management system comprising:
