Abstract
A docking station has a frame including a main body, an inflow end portion and an outflow end portion. The main body of the frame is formed by a plurality of struts arranged to form rows of diamond-shaped cells. The cells in the downstream-most row of cells are circumferentially spaced apart from each other and define circumferentially spaced apices. The outflow end portion comprises valve seat struts that extend from the apices, and the valve seat struts extend from the apices in the downstream direction, curve inwardly to form arches, and then extend in the upstream direction within the lumen of the frame to form a valve seat.
Claims19
A docking station, comprising:
- a frame comprising a main body, an inflow end portion and an outflow end portion;
- wherein the main body of the frame is formed by a plurality of struts arranged to form rows of diamond-shaped cells;
- wherein the cells in a downstream-most row of cells are circumferentially spaced apart from each other and define circumferentially spaced apices;
- wherein the outflow end portion comprises valve seat struts that extend from the apices;
- and
- wherein the valve seat struts extend from the apices in a downstream direction, curve inwardly to form arches, and then extend in an upstream direction within a lumen of the frame to form a valve seat.
