Abstract
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for preparing medical treatment plans, comprising: acquiring medical image data associated with an anatomy of a patient; creating a three-dimensional anatomy model based on the medical image data; fitting a statistical shape model to the three-dimensional anatomy model; determining one or more quantitative measurements based on the fitted statistical shape model; and classifying a defect associated with the anatomy of the patient based on the one or more quantitative measurements.

A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- processing a plurality of medical images of an anatomy of a patient to generate processed data;
- creating a default surgical plan based on the processed data;
- obtaining historical operative data comprising one or more of pre-operative data, intra-operative data, or post-operative data associated with a same anatomy type as the anatomy of the patient;
- obtaining a selection of a population of patients with a similar pathology as the anatomy of the patient, a selection of a treatment decision related to the default surgical plan, and a selection of one or more patient characteristics;
- determining a portion of the historical operative data associated with the population;
- based on the portion of the historical operative data, the portion of the historical operative data comprising patient data relating, for each of one or more patients, one or more values for the one or more patient characteristics with the treatment decision, running an analysis relating the one or more patient characteristics with the treatment decision;
- and
- obtaining a pre-operative plan for surgery of the anatomy of the patient based on at least the default surgical plan and results of the analysis.
A computing device comprising one or more processors, coupled to one or more memories, configured to:
- process a plurality of medical images of an anatomy of a patient to generate processed data;
- create a default surgical plan based on the processed data;
- obtain historical operative data comprising one or more of pre-operative data, intra-operative data, or post-operative data associated with a same anatomy type as the anatomy of the patient;
- obtain a selection of a population of patients with a similar pathology as the anatomy of the patient, a selection of a treatment decision related to the default surgical plan, and a selection of one or more patient characteristics;
- determine a portion of the historical operative data associated with the population;
- based on the portion of the historical operative data, the portion of the historical operative data comprising patient data relating, for each of one or more patients, one or more values for the one or more patient characteristics with the treatment decision, run an analysis relating the one or more patient characteristics with the treatment decision;
- and
- obtain a pre-operative plan for surgery of the anatomy of the patient based on at least the default surgical plan and results of the analysis.
