Abstract
A medical stapler includes a grasping portion connected to an endoscope and having a first jaw and a second jaw connected by a rotation shaft; an operation portion configured to receive an external force for operating the grasping portion to open and close; a first wire configured to transmit the external force that is received by the operation portion to the grasping portion; and a movable pin attached to a distal end of the first wire, wherein the grasping portion is transitioned to an open state and a closed state by the first/second jaw relatively rotating with each other, and the movable pin is advanceable and retractable between positions at the proximal-end and distal-end side of the rotation shaft in a state in which the movable pin is engaged with an engagement groove formed in the first jaw.
Claims20
A medical stapler, comprising:
- a tube;
- a grasper having a first portion and a second portion located distally relative to a distal end of the tube;
- a first pin connected to the first portion and the second portion;
- a wire located inside the tube;
- and
- a second pin connected to a distal end of the wire, wherein:
- the first portion is supported by the first pin and configured to be rotatable around the first pin relative to the second portion;
- the first portion includes a groove;
- and
- the second pin is configured to slide within the groove, while being movable along a longitudinal axis of the second portion from a first position proximal relative to the first pin toward a distal end of the second portion.
A medical stapler, comprising:
- a tube;
- a grasper having a first portion and a second portion located distally relative to a distal end of the tube;
- a first pin connected to the first portion and the second portion;
- a wire located inside the tube;
- and
- a second pin connected to a distal end of the wire, wherein:
- the first portion is supported by the first pin and configured to be rotatable around the first pin relative to the second portion;
- the first portion includes a groove;
- and
- the second pin is configured to slide within the groove, while being movable along a longitudinal axis of the second portion to a first position in which a distal end of the second pin is proximal relative to the first pin and to a second position in which the distal end of the second pin is distal relative to the first pin.
A medical stapler, comprising:
- a tube;
- a grasper having a first portion and a second portion located distally relative to a distal end of the tube;
- a first pin connected to the first portion and the second portion;
- a wire located inside the tube;
- and
- a second pin connected to a distal end of the wire, wherein:
- the first portion is supported by the first pin and configured to be rotatable around the first pin relative to the second portion;
- the first portion includes a groove;
- the second pin is configured to slide within the groove, while being movable along a longitudinal axis of the second portion to a first position in which a distal end of the second pin is proximal relative to the first pin;
- and
- a central axis of the second pin is parallel to a central axis of the first pin.
