Abstract
A steering system may receive a selection of an anatomical structure of interest of a subject and a quantification task associated with the anatomical structure of interest of the subject. The steering system may determine a current orientation of an ultrasound catheter in the subject. The steering system may determine a target orientation of the ultrasound catheter in the subject for the quantification task associated with the anatomical structure of interest of the subject. The steering system may determine steering information for steering the ultrasound catheter in the subject from the current orientation to the target orientation. The steering system may perform an action based on the steering information.
Claims20
A system comprising:
- a memory configured to store instructions;
- and
- one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to:
- receive a selection of an anatomical structure of interest of a subject and a quantification task associated with the anatomical structure of interest of the subject;
- determine a current orientation of an ultrasound catheter in the subject;
- determine a target orientation of the ultrasound catheter in the subject for the quantification task associated with the anatomical structure of interest of the subject;
- determine steering information for steering the ultrasound catheter in the subject from the current orientation to the target orientation;
- and
- perform an action based on the steering information.
A method comprising:
- receiving a selection of an anatomical structure of interest of a subject and a quantification task associated with the anatomical structure of interest of the subject;
- determining a current orientation of an ultrasound catheter in the subject;
- determining a target orientation of the ultrasound catheter in the subject for the quantification task associated with the anatomical structure of interest of the subject;
- determining steering information for steering the ultrasound catheter in the subject from the current orientation to the target orientation;
- and
- performing an action based on the steering information.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:
- receive a selection of an anatomical structure of interest of a subject and a quantification task associated with the anatomical structure of interest of the subject;
- determine a current orientation of an ultrasound catheter in the subject;
- determine a target orientation of the ultrasound catheter in the subject for the quantification task associated with the anatomical structure of interest of the subject;
- determine steering information for steering the ultrasound catheter in the subject from the current orientation to the target orientation;
- and
- perform an action based on the steering information.
