Medical examination table and medical image diagnostic apparatus

A medical examination table comprising:

• a placement portion on which a subject is placed;
• a fixing belt that includes a first belt portion extending in a lateral direction of the placement portion from a first side portion that is a side portion on one side of the placement portion in the lateral direction, and a second belt portion extending in the lateral direction of the placement portion from a second side portion that is a side portion on the other side of the placement portion in the lateral direction of the placement portion, and that fixes the subject placed on the placement portion by joining the first belt portion and the second belt portion;
• and
• an elevating mechanism that is provided on a first side portion side of the placement portion, that includes a first connecting portion to which the first belt portion is connected, and a second connecting portion to which the second belt portion is connected, and that elevates at least a part of the first belt portion by pulling operation of the second belt portion and lowers the at least part of the first belt portion by loosening operation of the second belt portion.
