Abstract

A removable menstrual garment attachment for tracking reproductive health biomarkers in menstrual fluid is provided. The menstrual garment attachment is configured as a self-contained, single-use adhesive diagnostic module applied to the exterior surface of any commercially available menstrual product. The device includes a detection module that may comprise a lateral flow immunoassay, electronic sensors, or both, along with a microfluidic system for fluid channeling and optional volume regulation. A near-field communication (NFC) chip may be included for wireless data transmission to a mobile device application for longitudinal health tracking. Methods for detecting reproductive health biomarkers include collecting menstrual fluid, channeling through a microfluidic system, optionally regulating fluid volume, filtering contaminants, detecting target analytes, and producing a user-readable output.
