Dishwashing machine and dishwasher load receptacle with expansion possibility

A dishwasher, comprising:

• a dishwasher cavity designed to receive an item to be washed;
• a circulating pump;
• a circulating line connected downstream of the circulating pump and supplying washing liquor to a spray apparatus, said circulating line comprising a mouth leading into the dishwasher cavity and designed to connect the spray apparatus;
• a branching arranged along the circulating line, with the mouth of the circulating line connected downstream of the branching;
• and
• a removable closure designed to close the mouth of the circulating line.

A receptacle for items to be washed, the receptacle comprising:

• a supply coupling;
• a circulating line connected downstream of the supply coupling, wherein the supply coupling is designed to supply washing liquor into the circulating line;
• a branching arranged along the circulating line;
• and
• a mouth connected downstream of the branching, said mouth being designed for connecting a spray apparatus and closed by a removable closure.
