Abstract
A hygienization station for hygienizing a mopping textile of a cleaning appliance includes an electrolysis cell for electrochemically producing a hypochlorite-containing solution by electrolysis of a salt-containing fluid. A supply line supplies a defined amount of the hypochlorite solution to the mopping textile, and the mopping textile is cleaned in a cleaning region in which the mopping textile is received. The cleaning region has cleaning devices for mechanically processing the mopping textile and for discharging excess fluid. There is also disclosed a hygienizing system with such a hygienization station and a cleaning appliance, and also a method for hygienizing a mopping textile of a cleaning appliance.
Claims16
A hygienization station for hygienizing a mopping textile of a cleaning appliance, the hygienization station comprising:
- an electrolysis cell for electrochemically producing a hypochlorite-containing solution by electrolysis of a salt-containing fluid;
- a supply line for supplying a defined amount of the hypochlorite-containing solution to the mopping textile;
- and
- a cleaning region for receiving the mopping textile, the cleaning region having a cleaning device for mechanically processing the mopping textile and for discharging excess fluid.
A method for hygienizing a mopping textile of a cleaning appliance in a hygienization station, the method comprising:
- a) electrochemically producing a hypochlorite-containing solution by electrolysis of a salt-containing fluid by an electrolysis cell;
- b) supplying a defined amount of the hypochlorite-containing solution to the mopping textile;
- and
- c) mechanically processing the mopping textile and discharging excess fluid from the mopping textile in a cleaning region.
