A chair for supporting a seat occupant that includes a pivoting support to create pivoting movement about multiple movement axes to create freedom of movement of the chair. The pivoting support includes a first support link and a second support link that each have first ends rotatable about a first movement axis. A third support link and fourth support link are each connected to one of the first and second support links and are rotatable about second and third movement axes. The second end of each of the third and fourth support links are rotatable about fourth and fifth movement axes.
