A detachable artificial nail kit, comprising:
- an artificial nail base having a first surface and an opposite second surface, with a side wall connecting at first front edges of the first surface and the second surface, wherein the side wall includes an opening and a cavity extending from the opening into the base, and the first surface includes a curved shape for fitting a user's nail surface;
- and
- an artificial nail tip having a second front edge, a rear edge and a protrusion extending from the rear edge of the artificial nail tip, wherein the protrusion is detachably fitted into the cavity of the artificial nail base.
