Multifunctional travel suitcase with integrated accessories

A wheeled luggage apparatus comprising:

• a main compartment defining a cavity for storing items;
• a telescoping handle coupled to the main compartment;
• a secondary compartment attached to a front face of the main compartment;
• a lock configured to secure the secondary compartment;
• wherein the secondary compartment is configured to receive and retain a power bank;
• at least one charging port located on an exterior surface of the wheeled luggage apparatus;
• internal wiring electrically connecting the power bank to the at least one charging port;
• and
• a plurality of wheels, each wheel individually removable from the main compartment without tools, such that removal of the plurality of wheels reduces overall dimensions of the wheeled luggage apparatus to satisfy airline carry-on size requirements.

A wheeled luggage apparatus comprising:

• a main compartment defining a cavity for storing items;
• a telescoping handle coupled to the main compartment and configured to extend to a plurality of discrete locked positions and retract into the main compartment;
• a device support mechanism integrated with an upper portion of the telescoping handle, the device support mechanism comprising a pivotable platform configured to rotate between a stowed position substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the telescoping handle and a deployed position in which the pivotable platform provides a support surface for a portable electronic device in a viewing orientation while the wheeled luggage apparatus is being rolled;
• a secondary compartment attached to a front face of the main compartment, the secondary compartment having a top-opening configuration accessible from a top of the wheeled luggage apparatus;
• a Transportation Security Administration (TSA)-approved combination lock configured to secure the secondary compartment and to permit TSA-authorized access to the secondary compartment without damaging the lock;
• wherein the secondary compartment is configured to receive and retain a power bank and is dimensioned to additionally accommodate a laptop computer;
• at least one charging port located on an exterior surface of the wheeled luggage apparatus proximate to the telescoping handle;
• internal wiring electrically connecting the power bank to the at least one charging port;
• a plurality of wheels attached to a bottom of the main compartment, each wheel individually removable from the main compartment without tools such that removal of the plurality of wheels reduces overall dimensions of the wheeled luggage apparatus to satisfy airline carry-on size requirements;
• and
• at least one retractable accessory hook coupled to a lateral side of the main compartment, the at least one retractable accessory hook configured to transition between a retracted position substantially flush with the lateral side and an extended position projecting outward from the lateral side.
