Upper with cable segments having egress points at varying locations

An article of footwear comprising:

• a sole structure;
• and
• an upper secured to the sole structure at a biteline, the upper having an outermost-facing surface and an opposite inner-facing surface, the upper comprising:
• a first cable grouping extending over the outermost-facing surface of the upper between an area adjacent the biteline and a throat area of the upper, each cable in the first cable grouping having a first end that corresponds to an egress point where the respective cable begins extending over the outermost-facing surface of the upper and a second end that corresponds to an ingress point where the respective cable no longer extends over the outermost-facing surface of the upper, wherein a distance between the biteline and a first egress point for a first cable in the first cable grouping is different from a distance between the biteline and a second egress point for a second cable in the first cable grouping.

An article of footwear comprising:

• a sole structure;
• and
• an upper secured to the sole structure at a biteline, the upper having an outermost-facing surface and an opposite inner-facing surface, the upper comprising:
• a first cable grouping extending over the outermost-facing surface of the upper between an area adjacent the biteline and a throat area of the upper, each cable in the first cable grouping having a first end that corresponds to an egress point where the respective cable begins extending over the outermost-facing surface of the upper and a second end that corresponds to an ingress point where the respective cable no longer extends over the outermost-facing surface of the upper, wherein a distance between the biteline and a first egress point for a first cable in the first cable grouping is different from a distance between the biteline and a second egress point for a second cable in the first cable grouping, and wherein a distance between the biteline and a first ingress point for the first cable is different from a distance between the biteline and a second ingress point for the second cable.
