Abstract

Provided is an inner sole for an article of footwear, which enables a user to stand with stable posture and walk with stable posture. An inner sole (15) includes a pad (60), and is to be provided in a portion of the article of footwear, into which a foot is to be inserted. In plan view of the pad (60), the pad (60) is divided by a center line passing through a center (C1) of the pad (60) in a widthwise direction into an inner region (D1) and an outer region (D2). In plan view of the pad (60), the inner region (D1) is a region on which a first toe of the foot is to be positioned. In plan view of the pad (60), the outer region (D2) is a region on which a fifth toe of the foot is to be positioned. The pad (60) has a hole (40) that allows a load received by a ground-contact portion of the article of footwear from a heel of the foot at a position corresponding to the outer region (D2), to exceed a load received by the ground-contact portion of the article of footwear from the heel of the foot at a position corresponding to the inner region (D1).

Dependent claims

An inner sole, comprising a pad, the inner sole being to be provided in a foot accommodating space of an article of footwear,

wherein, in plan view of the pad, the pad is divided by a center line passing through a center of the pad in a widthwise direction into an inner region and an outer region,
wherein, in plan view of the pad, the inner region is a region on which a first toe of a foot is to be positioned,
wherein, in plan view of the pad, the outer region is a region on which a fifth toe of the foot is to be positioned,
wherein the pad has an assist mechanism formed of a hole extending through the pad in a thickness direction, the assist mechanism allowing a load received by a ground-contact portion of the article of footwear from a heel of the foot at a position corresponding to the outer region, to exceed a load received by the ground-contact portion from the heel of the foot at a position corresponding to the inner region, and
wherein the hole is formed so that a position corresponding to a center of pressure on a bottom of the foot is included in a region corresponding to the hole in plan view of the pad, and that a lower end of a calcaneus bone of the foot is positioned directly above the hole, and
wherein the hole has an inner peripheral shape that is the same as a shape of the lower end of the calcaneus bone of the foot when seen in plan view.

An article of footwear, comprising:

a main body portion under which a human foot is to be inserted;
and
a ground-contact portion, which is fixed to the main body portion, and is to be brought into contact with a ground,
wherein, in plan view of the main body portion, the main body portion is divided by a center line passing through a center of the main body portion in a widthwise direction into an inner region and an outer region,
wherein, in plan view of the main body portion, the inner region is a region on which a first toe of the foot is to be positioned, and the outer region is a region on which a fifth toe of the foot is to be positioned,
wherein, in plan view of the main body portion, the ground-contact portion is arranged across the inner region and the outer region,
wherein the main body portion includes:
a foot accommodating space into which the foot is to be inserted;
and a bottom portion, which is fixed to the ground-contact portion and defines the foot accommodating space,
wherein the bottom portion has an assist mechanism formed of a recessed portion, the assist mechanism being formed in an area facing the foot accommodating space, on which a heel of the foot is to be placed, the assist mechanism allowing a load received by the ground-contact portion of the article of footwear at a position corresponding to the outer region from the heel of the foot, to exceed a load received by the ground-contact portion of the article of footwear at a position corresponding to the inner region from the heel of the foot,
wherein the recessed portion is formed so that a position corresponding to a center of pressure on a bottom of the foot is included in the recessed portion in plan view of the main body portion, and that a lower end of a calcaneus bone of the foot is positioned directly above the recessed portion, and
wherein an inner peripheral shape of the recessed portion is the same as a shape of the lower end of the calcaneus bone of the foot when seen in plan view.
