Abstract
A fermented seasoning contains 2-(methylthio)ethanol in an amount of 3 mg/L or more and 100 mg/L or less. In addition, a method for producing a fermented seasoning containing 2-(methylthio)ethanol in an amount of 3 mg/L or more and 100 mg/L or less includes adding 2-(methylthio)ethanol to a base fermented seasoning.
