Product with automatically assemblable parts

A product, comprising:

• a first part comprising a first base body from which a number of projections extend so that the projections define an insertion direction, said projections having latching hooks arranged thereon;
• and
• a second part comprising a second base body in which a number of receptacles are arranged, and having latching lugs arranged on the second part in a region of the receptacles, the first and second parts being connected together by latching such that when the first part is latched with the second part, the projections of the first part are inserted in the insertion direction into the receptacles of the second part in one-to-one correspondence, and when the projections are fully inserted into the receptacles, the latching hooks and the latching lugs form latching connections,
• wherein the projections and the receptacles are coordinated such that, when the projections begin to insert into the receptacles, the projections have a clearance in the receptacles, when viewed in a transverse plane orthogonal to the insertion direction, both in a first transverse direction and in a second transverse direction orthogonal to the first transverse direction, with the clearance starting from an Initial value greater than zero, gradually decreasing to zero, as the projections are inserted into the receptacles, and
• wherein, when viewed in the transverse plane, the projections and receptacles have a contour of symmetrical trapezoids with a respective long side and a respective short side, with the long and short sides running in the first transverse direction.
