Abstract
The present invention relates to a cooking apparatus in which the heating efficiency and power efficiency of a heating coil can be improved by arranging an external insulating material outside an insulating material accommodating the heating coil and arranging a reflector, which reflects radiant heat generated in the heating coil toward a top plate, in an internal accommodation space of the insulating material.

A cooking appliance comprising:
- a top plate on which a container is seated;
- a temperature sensor configured to sense a temperature of the top plate;
- and
- a coil circuit board module including:
- a working coil pattern spirally wound to generate a magnetic field;
- and
- a sensing coil pattern spirally wound to sense whether the container is seated on the top plate,
- wherein the temperature sensor is disposed in the coil circuit board module in a state in which the temperature sensor is surrounded with the sensing coil pattern when being viewed from the top plate.
