Abstract
Apparatus, methods, and computer program products for wireless communication are provided. An example method may include receiving, from a network entity, a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) configuration that configures a quantity of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols for a PUCCH transmission. The example method may further include transmitting, to the network entity based on the quantity of OFDM symbols, the PUCCH transmission, where the PUCCH transmission occupies less than one full resource block (RB) per OFDM symbol.

An apparatus for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- at least one memory;
- and
- at least one processor coupled to the at least one memory, and based at least in part on information stored in the at least one memory, the at least one processor is configured to:
- receive, from a network entity, a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) configuration that configures a quantity of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols for a PUCCH transmission;
- and
- transmit, to the network entity based on the quantity of OFDM symbols, the PUCCH transmission, wherein the PUCCH transmission occupies less than one full resource block (RB) per OFDM symbol.
An apparatus for wireless communication at a network entity, comprising:
- at least one memory;
- and
- at least one processor coupled to the at least one memory, and based at least in part on information stored in the at least one memory, the at least one processor is configured to:
- transmit, for a user equipment (UE), a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) configuration that configures a quantity of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols for a PUCCH transmission;
- and
- receive, from the UE based on the quantity of OFDM symbols, the PUCCH transmission, wherein the PUCCH transmission occupies less than one full resource block (RB) per OFDM symbol.
A method for wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- receiving, from a network entity, a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) configuration that configures a quantity of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols for a PUCCH transmission;
- and
- transmitting, to the network entity based on the quantity of OFDM symbols, the PUCCH transmission, wherein the PUCCH transmission occupies less than one full resource block (RB) per OFDM symbol.
