Abstract
A method for a Base Station (BS) to broadcast one or more Synchronization Signal Blocks (SSBs) is disclosed. The method comprises transmitting a Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) type indication to a user equipment (UE); and broadcasting the one or more SSBs with a reduced number of antennas.

A method for a Base Station (BS) to broadcast one or more Synchronization Signal Blocks (SSBs), the method comprising:
- transmitting a Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) type indication to a user equipment (UE);
- and
- broadcasting the one or more SSBs with a reduced number of antennas.
A method for a User Equipment (UE) to receive one or more Synchronization Signal Blocks (SSBs), the method comprising:
- receiving a SSB type indication from a Base Station (BS);
- and
- receiving the one or more SSBs broadcasted with a reduced number of antennas from the BS.
