Abstract

Techniques and systems are provided for image processing. For instance, a process can include obtaining a first image; extracting features of the first image; detecting, based on the extracted features, one or more semantic lines in the first image; generating, based on the extracted features, a saliency map indicating portions of interest in the first image; combining the saliency map with the extracted features; predicting a composition pattern for the first image based on the combined saliency map and extracted features; predicting an aesthetic score for the first image based on the predicted composition pattern; and determining a recommended direction to move the camera based on the predicted composition pattern and the one or more semantic lines.
