Methods, systems, articles of manufacture, and apparatus to identify media using screen capture

A method comprising:

• instructing, by a computing system, an image capture device to capture image data representative of a media presentation by a media device;
• processing, by the computing system, the image data to determine first identification data of the media presentation;
• and
• auditing, by the computing system, a meter device by comparing the first identification data from the captured image data to second identification data obtained from an audio code or signature detected by an audio sensor of the meter device.

At least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed, cause one or more processors of a computing system to perform a set of operations comprising:

• instructing an image capture device to capture image data representative of a media presentation by a media device;
• processing the image data to determine first identification data of the media presentation;
• and
• auditing a meter device by comparing the first identification data from the captured image data to second identification data obtained from an audio code or signature detected by an audio sensor of the meter device.

A system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, having stored thereon program instructions that, upon execution by the one or more processors, cause performance of a set of operations comprising:
• instructing an image capture device to capture image data representative of a media presentation by a media device;
• processing the image data to determine first identification data of the media presentation;
• and
• auditing a meter device by comparing the first identification data from the captured image data to second identification data obtained from an audio code or signature detected by an audio sensor of the meter device.
