- in a reading apparatus that transports a document and reads an image of the document, in a case where the document is skewed, indicating that the document is skewed, using at least one of a position of the transported document or a mark affixed to the document.
An image reading apparatus comprising:
- a transport unit that transports a document;
- a reading unit that reads an image of the document;
- and
- an indication unit that, in a case where the document is skewed, indicates that the document is skewed, using at least one of a position of the transported document or a mark affixed to the document.
