An information processing system includes a processor configured to, in a case where a form read by a reading apparatus that transports the form and reads an image of the form does not satisfy requirements for listed items, indicate that the form does not satisfy the requirements, using at least one of a position of the transported form or a mark affixed to the form.

- in a case where a form read by a reading apparatus that transports the form and reads an image of the form does not satisfy requirements for listed items, indicating that the form does not satisfy the requirements, using at least one of a position of the transported form or a mark affixed to the form.
An image reading apparatus comprising:
- a transport unit that transports a form;
- a reading unit that reads an image of the form;
- and
- an indication unit that, in a case where the form does not satisfy requirements for listed items, indicates that the form does not satisfy the requirements, using at least one of a position of the transported form or a mark affixed to the form.
