Abstract

A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a transmission. The transmission may be a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission. The transmission (e.g., PDSCH transmission) may include data and/or a superimposed demodulation reference signal (S-DMRS). S-DMRS and data may be multiplexed on the same resource (RE). The WTRU may determine a S-DMRS parameter, for example associated with the PDSCH transmission. The S-DMRS parameter may include a transmission power ratio of S-DMRS to data and/or an number of resources of a total number of resources associated with the PDSCH transmission (e.g., overlap factor) that comprise both data and S-DMRS. The WTRU may transmit an indication of the at least one S-DMRS parameter.

Dependent claims

A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) comprising:

a processor configured to:
receive a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission comprising data and at least one superimposed demodulation reference signal (S-DMRS), wherein S-DMRS and data are multiplexed on the same resource;
determine at least one S-DMRS parameter associated with the PDSCH transmission, the at least one S-DMRS parameter comprising a transmission power ratio of the S-DMRS to the data and an number of resources of a total number of resources associated with the PDSCH transmission that comprise both the data and the S-DMRS;
and
transmit an indication of the at least one S-DMRS parameter.
