Aspects of the disclosure are directed to network digital twin (NDT)-assisted sensing operations. In an aspect, a NDT consumer obtains radio frequency sensing (RF-S) information based on (real-world) first RF-S procedure of a target object using a first RF-S configuration. A NDT producer determines a second RF-S configuration for an emulated or simulated RF-S procedure, where the second RF-S configuration is based on sensing hypotheses associated with radio metrics that match the first RF-S information of the first RF-S procedure. Target information is then obtained based on the emulated or simulated RF-S procedure. Hence, sensing information is obtained at least in part based on simulation/emulation of a RF-S procedure instead of a real-world RF-S procedure alone. Such aspects provide various technical advantages, such as reducing a radio frequency (RF) resource utilization associated with RF-S operations.
