A three-phase resonant converter includes a three-phase transformer, an input bridge arm assembly, an output bridge arm assembly, a current balance controller, and a control unit. The input bridge arm assembly has first, second, and third input switch arms, each having an upper switch and a lower switch. The output bridge arm assembly has first, second, and third output synchronous rectification switch arms, each having an upper rectification switch and a lower rectification switch. The current balance controller receives first, second, and third currents from respective nodes between the upper and lower switches, determines first and second phase angle differences based on at least one of peak, average, or RMS values of the currents, and provides the phase angle differences to the control unit. The control unit controls turn-on timing of rectification switches using a first phase angle and second and third phase angles offset by the phase angle differences.
