Abstract
The electric rotating machine includes a rotor and a stator disposed around an outer circumference of the rotor, the rotor being provided with: a rotating shaft having an axial passage and radial passages; a rotor core fixed to the rotating shaft and having permanent magnets and axial cooling passages for cooling the permanent magnets; and an end plate that is fixed to one axial end of the rotor core and that constitutes, together with the end of the rotor core, a first reservoir portion connected to the radial passages of the rotating shaft, a second reservoir portion connected to the cooling passages of the rotor core, and orifices that connect together the first reservoir portion and the second reservoir portion.

An electric rotating machine, comprising:
- a rotor and a stator disposed around an outer circumference of the rotor,
- said rotor being provided with:
- a rotating shaft having an axial passage and at least one radial passage connected to the axial passage;
- a rotor core fixed to the rotating shaft and having permanent magnets and axial cooling passages for cooling the permanent magnets;
- and
- an end plate that is fixed to one axial end of the rotor core and that constitutes, together with said end of the rotor core, a first reservoir portion connected to said at least one radial passage of the rotating shaft, a second reservoir portion connected to said cooling passages of the rotor core, and orifices that connect together the first reservoir portion and the second reservoir portion,
- wherein a number of the orifices that the rotor has, corresponds to a pole number of the rotor;
- and
- wherein a number of said at least one radial passage that the rotating shaft has, is smaller than the number of the orifices.
An electric rotating machine, comprising:
- a rotor and a stator disposed around an outer circumference of the rotor,
- said rotor being provided with:
- a rotating shaft having an axial passage and at least one radial passage connected to the axial passage;
- a rotor core fixed to the rotating shaft and having permanent magnets and axial cooling passages for cooling the permanent magnets;
- and
- an end plate that is fixed to one axial end of the rotor core and that constitutes, together with said end of the rotor core, a first reservoir portion connected to said at least one radial passage of the rotating shaft, a second reservoir portion connected to said cooling passages of the rotor core, and orifices that connect together the first reservoir portion and the second reservoir portion,
- wherein the rotor includes a plurality of shield walls that separate the first reservoir portion and the second reservoir portion from each other, and the orifices are formed as gaps between the shield walls.
