A connector includes a housing and a terminal module. The terminal module includes a terminal block, a first shielding plate and a second shielding plate. At least one of the first shielding plate and the second shielding plate includes a shielding chamber. The terminal block is at least partially located in the shielding chamber.

A connector, comprising:
- a housing;
- and
- a terminal module, the terminal module being at least partially disposed in the housing;
- the terminal module comprising a terminal block, a first shielding plate and a second shielding plate;
- the terminal block being configured to be mounted to a circuit board;
- wherein at least one of the first shielding plate and the second shielding plate defines a shielding chamber disposed adjacent to the circuit board, and the terminal block is at least partially disposed in the shielding chamber.
