A connector includes a housing and an insertion module. The insertion module includes a terminal module. The terminal module includes a terminal block and a cable connected to the terminal block. The terminal block includes an insulating block and a first mating terminal disposed in the insulating block. The first mating terminal includes a first retention portion secured to the insulating block, a first mating portion extending from one end of the first retention portion, a first twisted portion extending from another end of the first retention portion, and a first cable connection portion connected to the first twisted portion. The first twisted portion causes the first cable connection portion obliquely relative to the first retention portion. The cable includes a first conductive wire electrically connected to the first cable connection portion.
