Connector and connector assembly with improved positioning pin

A connector assembly, comprising:

• a connector comprising:
• a housing, the housing defining a first mounting slot and a first locking slot communicating with the first mounting slot;
• an insertion module assembled to the housing;
• the insertion module comprising a second insulating plate and a terminal module secured to the second insulating plate;
• the second insulating plate being partially installed in the first mounting slot;
• the second insulating plate defining a first positioning groove;
• and
• a first positioning pin defining a first removal hole extending through the first positioning pin along a thickness direction of the first positioning pin;
• the first positioning pin being inserted into the first positioning groove through the first locking slot;
• and
• a disassembly fixture being provided with a hook;
• the hook being configured to pass through the first removal hole of the first positioning pin to disassemble or assemble the first positioning pin.
