Abstract

A battery cell is disclosed. In some implementations, the battery cell includes: an electrode assembly including a cathode, an anode, and a separator; a cell case accommodating the electrode assembly; a cap plate connected to the cell case; an electrode terminal disposed in the cap plate and including a coupling hole; and a current collector electrically connecting the electrode assembly and the electrode terminal, wherein the current collector includes a current collecting plate electrically connected to the electrode assembly and a current collecting pin connected to the current collecting plate and welded to the electrode terminal in a state of being fitted into the coupling hole, and the current collecting pin includes a hollow portion recessed toward the current collecting plate at a first end spaced apart from the current collecting plate.
