Abstract
A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes: an electrode group of wound type including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator provided between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The electrode group includes a core portion for winding. The core portion includes a film piece and a winding start end region of the separator. The film piece and the winding start end region are wound in an overlapped manner.
Claims12
A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising:
- an electrode group of wound type including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator provided between the positive electrode and the negative electrode;
- and
- a nonaqueous electrolyte,
- wherein the electrode group includes a core portion for winding,
- the core portion includes a film piece and a winding start end region of the separator,
- the film piece and the winding start end region are wound in an overlapped manner, and
- an innermost peripheral part of the core portion is closed by a folded portion formed of the film piece and the winding start end region, overlapped with each other, folded in two.
