Abstract
A power supply device in accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure includes: secondary battery cells, each of the secondary battery cells including a discharge valve configured to open when an internal pressure exceeds a predetermined pressure; and an outer case accommodating the secondary battery cells therein. The outer case includes a check valve configured to open when an internal pressure of the outer case increases and to close when the internal pressure of the outer case decreases. The check valve includes: a discharge window opening in a part of the outer case; and a closing mechanism which is openable and closable and is configured to close the discharge window.
Claims7
A power supply device comprising:
- a plurality of secondary battery cells, each of the plurality of secondary battery cells including a discharge valve configured to open when an internal pressure of the each of the plurality of secondary battery cells exceeds a predetermined pressure;
- and
- an outer case accommodating the plurality of secondary battery cells therein, wherein
- the outer case includes a check valve configured to open when an internal pressure of the outer case increases and to close when the internal pressure of the outer case decreases, and
- the check valve includes:
- a discharge window opening in a part of the outer case;
- and
- a closing mechanism which is openable and closable and is configured to close the discharge window.
