Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a pouch-type battery cooling apparatus for removing heat generated from a pouch-type battery. A pouch-type battery cooling apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a case configured to accommodate a plurality of pouch-type batteries and including a cooling fluid in direct or indirect contact with the plurality of pouch-type batteries and a support body including a support plate disposed between the plurality of pouch-type batteries or pouch-type battery groups, the support plate supporting the plurality of pouch-type batteries or the pouch-type battery groups by applying pressure in a thickness dimension of the plurality of pouch-type batteries, and a plurality of channels formed inside the support plate, arranged along a planar dimension of the plurality of pouch-type batteries, and providing a flow path through which the cooling fluid flows in a height dimension of the plurality of pouch-type batteries.
