Abstract

Provided is a method for producing a solid electrolyte, the method including mixing a raw material-containing substance that contains a lithium atom, a phosphorus atom, and a sulfur atom with a solvent to prepare a solution of an intermediate (1), and spraying the intermediate (1) solution using a spray drying apparatus, or spraying the intermediate (1) solution using a spray drying apparatus at a spraying pressure of the spray drying apparatus of 0.01 MPa or more, as method for producing a solid electrolyte, superior in the productivity and giving a sharp particle size distribution, a small median size (D50), and a superior ionic conductivity. Also provided is a solid electrolyte having a prescribed median size (D50) and particle size distribution.
