Pyrotechnic circuit breaker

A pyrotechnic circuit breaker, comprising at least:

• a housing,
• an electrical conductor to be cut, at least partially passing through the housing,
• a cutting piston, housed in the housing and movable between a rest position and an activated position, the cutting piston being arranged to cut the electrical conductor during its movement from the rest position to the activated position,
• a pyrotechnic actuator, housed in the housing and arranged to change the cutting piston from the rest position to the activated position during its operation,
• wherein the circuit breaker comprises at least one deformable member, arranged to brake the cutting piston once the electrical conductor is cut,
• and in that a strictly positive clearance is provided between the deformable member and the electrical conductor before it is cut.
