An electrical conductor for an electrical installation in a renewable energy facility

An electric installation comprising an electric component mechanically and electrically connected to an electric conductor, wherein said electric component is at least partly cooled by said electric conductor, said electrical conductor comprising:

• a first end segment connected to the electric component;
• a second end segment;
• a middle segment formed by one or more conductor branches which electrically couples and mechanically couples said first end segment and said second end segment;
• wherein said middle segment comprises an internal cooling channel defined by said one or more conductor branches,
• wherein said internal cooling channel is fluidly coupled with an external environment through one or more cooling channel openings in any of said first end segment, said second end segment, or said middle segment, thereby said internal cooling channel facilitates transportation of fluid for cooling components of said electric installation.
