Abstract
An electroluminescent display device using a variable refresh rate (VRR) mode. The occurrence of a difference in luminance at a time point of a refresh rate change is reduced, thereby preventing viewers from perceiving the change of the refresh rate.

A display device comprising:
- a display panel including a plurality of pixels and configured to be operated by frames, the frames including at least one refresh frame, a period of the at least one refresh frame varies based on a refresh rate;
- a scan driver configured to supply a scan signal, the scan driver arranged at a first side and/or a second side of the display panel;
- and
- a light emission signal driver configured to supply a light emission signal, the light emission signal driver arranged at the first side or the second side of the display panel;
- wherein the frames include a first frame having a first refresh rate and a second frame having a second refresh rate different from the first refresh rate,
- wherein a duty ratio of the light emission signal during the first frame is different from a duty ratio of the light emission signal during the second frame,
- wherein a first bias voltage applied during the first frame is different from a second bias voltage applied during the second frame.
